There are a few simple rules�

  • In order to be able to book travel online they must book at least 24 hours prior to your flight arrival time.
  • The group has been set up to book online so they can change an existing reservation via phone (866-596-2699) but they will need to make their original reservation online; if not the discount doesn�t apply.

The National WW II Museum visit will include a self-guided tour and the IMAX, �Beyond Boundaries�, experience. The �Beyond Boundaries� is a 45 minute film shown in the museums state of the art IMAX Theater highlighting the events that led to War with the with Germany and its allies. Transportation will be provided as needed to and from the hotel. This will be done as a shuttle service allowing for a tour of the museum by small groups and on the attendees desired schedule. The shuttle bus will have a capacity of 36 persons. The showing of �Beyond Boundaries� for our attendees will be at 11AM followed by a catered lunch at the museum at NOON. The lunch menu will consist of typical �New Orleans� cuisine. The last shuttle will depart the museum for the hotel at 3PM. For those that are more ambitious the museum is within walking distance and only 8 blocks from the hotel. Taxis are also available for individuals that wish to stay past 2PM at the museum.

FRIDAY

Sep 6th, 2013

Attendees will exit the hotel, which is located along the Mississippi River, and board the Creole Queen paddle wheel riverboat at 10AM for a trip along the banks of the Mississippi River past the French Quarter to Jean Lafitte National Park, the site of the 1815 battle of New Orleans, where attendees can tour the Chalmette Battlefield including the Malus-Beauregard House and Chalmette Monument before re-boarding and lunch onboard as the Creole Queen paddles back to the hotels back door, returning at approximately 1PM. During the return to the hotel the Captain will give a historical narrative and entertainment will be provided by a Dixieland band.

SATURDAY

The Formal Board and Officers Meeting will be held at 9AM followed by the Annual Business Meeting at 11AM. The Banquet festivities will begin at 5PM with an open Hospitality Room followed promptly by dinner at 6PM.
