Please take note of the following details for the upcoming 4-day group retreat for all 1-17IN veterans of the 2009-2010 deployment:
WHO: All 1-17IN veterans of the 2009-2010 deployment
WHAT: Conduct a 4-day group retreat to reconnect and heal.
WHERE: Charlotte, NC
WHEN: November 7th to 10th, 2024
This event is free of cost. Travel, lodging, and meals are covered.
A tentative agenda is as follows:
Thursday: Arrival and group dinner.
Friday: Group PT (nothing too intense), followed by a two-hour session with licensed VA counselors. Team bonding activities, which are yet to be determined, could include options such as a baseball game, paintball, hiking, or whitewater rafting.
Saturday: Similar to Friday's schedule, with a closing dinner.
Sunday: Travel back home.
